Craig School of Business

Craig School of Business Dog Days Resources

The Craig School of Business advising team will be with students during their New Student Orientation. Please note if you need to change your Dog Day New Student Orientation date or have Admissions questions, you will want to go to those departments directly.

Dog Days To-Do List

You can find the complete Dog Days checklist here. Below are additional suggestions for a successful New Student Orientation.

A link will be sent to you in a reminder email two weeks prior to your Dog Days Orientation. Using the link you will need to create an account in the Dog Days system using your Fresno State student ID number. The Online Pre-Orientation takes approximately one hour to complete.

This is how our campus will communicate important information to you. If you have not already, you may sign up by visiting my.fresnostate.edu and clicking on "Get an account now!"

Check your email daily. This is the only way Fresno State will be contacting you. We will contact you prior to your assigned Dog Day with some important information.

You can run a Degree Progress Report (DPR) to see what information Fresno State has for you regarding your AP and Dual enrollment. You can see how to run a Degree Progress Report here

We suggest you bring copies of these scores and community college enrollment to get the most accurate course recommendations.

Transfer students: Please bring any updated transcripts if you changed  your spring enrollment or added summer courses. Our transcript records only reflect what you submitted when you applied.

These may be beneficial when trying to get questions answered by admissions, evaluations and/or counselors.

Your Bulldog Card is your official Fresno State ID card. You can visit their website regarding the new procedures to get your card. Students have the option to submit a photo online prior to their Dog Days. Click here for more information.

In the future, you will be required to show your Fresno State Student ID card for appointments and for any questions requiring our office to review your student record.

The CSU system requires students to show proof of the immunizations for Hepatitis B, and Measles & Rubella. Proof of immunizations can be given to the Health Center during orientation or sent over before the end of your first year.

If you cannot locate your immunization record students can take a free test at the Student Health and Counseling Center to determine what immunizations they have received.

It may be 100 degrees outside, but some of our classrooms and buildings tend to be on the colder side.

The BASE Advisors have created a very useful handbook. We recommend reviewing the handbook prior to attending Dog Days.

You will receive an email from csbadvising@csufresno.edu in the days prior to orientation with some important and useful information for the day of orientation.

We have a very information heavy day ahead of us. You want to make sure you bring a pen and paper to take notes on for the day.

This will assist you in searching for courses and creating your wishlist. This will also expedite your registration in the afternoon.

Many students forget their Fresno State email login. This information is needed to log into your account to make a wishlist, add courses and adjust your schedule.

It may be 100 degrees outside, but some of our classrooms and buildings tend to be on the colder side.

  • Personalized flowchart based on what we can see in your student record
  • Presentation on Pre-Business, Economics and Fashion Merchandising major courses
  • Academic and University resources

You can run a Degree Progress Report (DPR) to see what information Fresno State has for you regarding your AP and Dual enrollment. You can see how to run a Degree Progress Report here

If you receive new AP scores after your Dog Days Orientation please have them submitted via College Board to Fresno State. You can also send unofficial copies to csbadvising@csufresno.edu with your ID number to ensure you are not taking any unnecessary courses.

Transfer students: Please submit any additional transcripts if you did not submit completed Spring 24 or Summer 24 courses.

Take a day to explore campus. It is amazing what you can find while you are trying to find your classrooms. You can find an interactive campus map here

Note: The Peters Education Center is located next to the Student Recreation Center on N. Woodrow Ave and Shaw Ave.
