I grew up in Fresno (Sunnyside area) and attended California State University, Fresno,
where I graduated with my Bachelor's in Science in Business Administration - Management.
Upon graduation I went to work at a local advertising agency. While working full time
I went back to school at night and obtained my Master's in Business Administration
with an emphasis in Marketing. I opened my own advertising agency (Turnbull Marketing
Services, Inc) in 1998.
In 2006 I was given the opportunity to teach at Fresno City College and absolutely
fell in love with teaching and especially sharing my passion for marketing with students.
During this same time I was interviewed by one of the largest ophthalmology practices
in the Valley to become their Director of Marketing - which I gladly accepted. So,
while I was teaching at Fresno City College I was also working in my own agency and
working as the Director of Marketing for Fogg, Maxwell, Lanier & Remington EyeCare.
Two years after I started at Fresno City College I was approached by one of my former
professors at CSU, Fresno who asked if I would be interested in teaching for the Marketing
Department. It was an offer I just couldn't refuse. I have now been teaching at Fresno
State for over 15 years. My role as Director of Marketing also changed. I am now
the Chief Administrative Officer for Fogg Remington EyeCare, I oversee all marketing,
advertising, public relations as well as all recruiting, hiring, firing and disciplinary
protocol for over 100 employees.
Fast forward to what I'm doing today:

3. Full Time Faculty for the Department of Marketing at California State University,
Fresno
4. Adjunct Faculty for Fresno City College
Yes - I'm crazy - but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way!
