I'm a proud Fresno native, raised in the Sunnyside area, and a double alum of California
State University, Fresno. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Management
and later returned to earn my MBA with an emphasis in Marketing while working full-time
in the advertising industry.
In 1998, I founded Turnbull Marketing Services Inc., an agency dedicated to helping
businesses grow through strategic marketing, advertising and branding. A few years
later, I discovered my passion for education when I began teaching marketing courses
at Fresno City College. Sharing real-world insights and inspiring future marketers
quickly became one of the most rewarding parts of my professional life.
While teaching, I also served as Director of Marketing — and eventually Chief Administrative
Officer — for Fogg, Maxwell, Lanier & Remington EyeCare, one of the largest ophthalmology
practices in the Central Valley. In my CAO role, I oversaw everything from marketing
and public relations to HR, recruiting and employee management for a team of over
100 people.
For the past 15+ years, I've had the privilege of teaching at Fresno State in the
Marketing Department, bringing both academic and industry experience into the classroom.
Alongside my teaching roles, I continue to consult with Valley-based organizations
on their marketing, advertising, PR and talent strategy.
Yes — I keep a full plate (some might say I'm a little crazy!), but I wouldn't have
it any other way. I love what I do, and I'm grateful to contribute to both the business
and academic communities here in the Central Valley.
