Caps and gowns will be available shortly at the Kennel Bookstore.

Graduation stoles will be available shortly at the Kennel Bookstore.

Honor cords will be available to students who earn Latin Honors (cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude). Students who earn Latin Honors will receive an email by April 1. Please contact CSBGradInfo@mail.fresnostate.edu if you feel you have earned this honor and did not receive an email.

• Graduates must arrive no later than 7:00 a.m.
• Please review this full list of Save Mart Center venue entry requirements.
• Assemble on the loading dock at the northeast end of the Save Mart Center (closest to Chestnut Avenue).
• Do not wear your regalia or cap. Graduates are required to carry their caps and gowns for visual search prior to entering the staging area.
• After passing the security checkpoint, graduates can then put on regalia and cap, which must be worn throughout the event. 
• Check in at the tables at the bottom of the ramp to get your name card. Keep this card with you at all times, as you will hand it to the reader on stage. 
• After checking in, line up behind the sign designating your department. Department staff will be on hand to guide you. 
• Graduate students, please hold onto your hood until it is time to be hooded. 

• When signaled, graduates will follow their department lead into the Save Mart Center.
• Order of procession: Faculty, Master's candidates, Bachelor's candidates.
• Please remain standing until Dean Olson-Buchanan gives the signal to be seated.

• The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. 
• Graduates and guests are to be remain seated at all times. 
• Graduates will be seated by department. 
• College staff will signal when it's time for each department to line up and come to the stage to be recognized. 
• Each graduate will have their name called and process across the stage 
• Master's degree candidates will be hooded by the respective graduate coordinators within their department.
• Ceremony will conclude by 9:30 a.m.

• Parking is free at the Save Mart Center. Carpooling is suggested.
• Guest tickets are not needed. Seating is free and there is no limit to the number of guests each graduate may invite.
• Family, friends and guests are encouraged to be seated by 7:45 a.m.
