Dr. Harry Xia is a professor of finance and international business at California State
University, Fresno, where he teaches Principles of Finance, International Finance,
Introduction to Global Business, Financial Policy and Strategy, and related MBA courses.
Dr. Xia received his doctoral degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and his
master’s degree from the University of Houston. Dr. Xia’s research interests include
corporate governance, international finance, business education, international business,
and global sustainable development. He has published in numerous journals and conference
proceedings. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Xia worked in several senior-level roles
in finance and operations for multinational corporations in North America and the
Asia Pacific.
