Dr. Fallah is an Assistant Professor of Finance at California State University, Fresno.
He received his PhD in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and holds
a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology in
Chicago. Prior to joining academia, Mo has worked as an investment analyst for more
than two years and he is a CFA level III candidate.
His research interests include mergers and acquisitions, investments, private equity
and behavioral finance. He has presented his research at international conferences,
including the Financial Management Association, Southern Finance Association, and
Southwestern Finance Association annual meetings.
Dr. Fallah is passionate about teaching finance have taught finance courses at both
undergraduate and graduate levels. His teaching effectiveness has been recognized
by the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award at the UTSA Alvarez College of Business
in April 2022.
