The UBC’s goal is to provide educational and professional development opportunities. Here are few UBC programs aimed at enhancing your professional development.
Customized Corporate Training
The UBC provides specialized management and executive level training to several area companies. The UBC works with the company executives and Craig School of Business faculty to develop a successful program that is tailor made to meet your business needs. Training can be done on-site or in the state of the art facilities at the UBC. Topics can range from general management skills such as: Leadership, Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Employment Law, Conflict Resolution, Effective & Persuasive Business Writing, Operational Cash Flow to industry specific skills such as: Agribusiness Finance, Real Estate Appraisal, Risk Management Assessment, Family Business Succession Planning and many others.

Agricultural Lending Institute (ALI)
As the premier institute for Ag lending professionals, ALI's goal is to develop effective leaders in agricultural finance. The training program involves two one-week sessions designed to be completed over a two-year period. Over the last fourteen years more than 250 participants have successfully completed the training.
ALI is a joint project of the Agricultural Lending Institute, Inc., and the University Business Center at the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno. For more information, please visit: www.aglendinginstitute.org.
Economic Development Certificate Program (EDC)
This program is for both new professionals entering the field of economic development
and existing professionals including elected officials who want to advance their career
and better serve their community. Participants have the opportunity to learn emerging
economic development concepts while developing a network of connections and resources
throughout California. The program is presented by California State University, Fresno
Office of Community and Economic Development, in partnership with the University Business
Center, California Association for Local Economic Development, and the California
Academy for Economic Development.

Degree Programs
The Accelerated Bachelors in Business Administration (ABBA) provides transfer students with an opportunity to complete their last 60 units in 16 months. You can read about the admission requirements by clicking here.
The ABBA program was designed as a Special Option with focus on general knowledge in Business Administration. The courses are taught in a cohort format (participants go through all the courses with the same group of students from start to finish), in the evenings and on weekends. Approximately one third of the courses will be offered online. Due to the nature of this program, the seating is limited.

The UBC provides administrative support to the Graduate Business Programs at the Craig School of Business for its degree program, MBA for Executives. This 17-months MBA for Executives program is designed for managers and executives who want to pursue an MBA, but cannot attend the traditional Monday through Thursday 16-week semester program.
