Eligibility
Applicants for the certificate will need to meet one of the following criteria:
- Be a currently registered Fresno State student in any program or
- Have a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution or
- Have an associate of arts degree from a two-year accredited college and a minimum of two years of business experience.
Note: Students majoring in IS (or an equivalent program) are not eligible for the AI Certificate. Students majoring in DA (or an equivalent program) should account for all elective courses in their DA subject area. IS courses should not be assumed to count as DA electives.
Prerequisites
Before entering the certificate program, applicants will need to demonstrate that they:
- Are conversant in computer concepts (equivalent to IS 52 and 52L at a minimum.)
- Have filled out the application form and sent it to csbstusupport@mail.fresnostate.edu.
Approval of the AI certificate program coordinator is required.

Applicants for the BIS certificate will need to meet one of the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled as a business major at an accredited four-year institution of higher education or
