The Fresno State Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summit is designed to inspire the campus community and foster collaboration. The event will continue the university's efforts to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among students, faculty and staff and connect people together to create even more innovation. Student Submissions

Apply for the Student Team Poster Presentations and Pitch Competition and create a poster to share about your innovative or entrepreneurial activity.

Submission Guidelines

Your abstract should provide a compelling overview of your idea and address the following key areas:

• Originality & Innovation (50 points): What makes your idea unique? How does it address a problem in a new or creative way?
• Social & Environmental Impact (50 points): Does your idea contribute to a social or environmental solution? What long-term benefits could it provide?
• Value Proposition (60 points): Who is your target market? How large is the opportunity? What impact could your product or service have? What is the revenue potential? Is your idea scalable? How will it reach its market?
• Feasibility & Viability (40 points): Can your idea be practically implemented? How would you navigate potential challenges?

Selected teams will be invited to present their posters at the Summit, where they’ll gain visibility, receive feedback from industry professionals, and compete for top honors.

In addition, an internal committee will select 5–6 teams to advance to the pitch competition round, where they will present their pitch decks and compete for 1st prize ($2,500), 2nd prize ($1,500), and 3rd prize ($1,000).
